State Tax Deductions on Federal Returns

Did you know you can deduct state taxes on your federal tax return? It’s true! In Missouri, you multiply the federal tax deduction for individuals by a percentage, based on the Missouri adjusted gross income.

$50,001 to $100,000 15%
$100,001 to $125,000 5%
$125,001 or more 0%
