What Should I Do If An E-file Issue Is Not Really an Issue?

When you e-file your taxes with an H&R Block Online product, we might notify you that there are issues with your return. Because the IRS has strict rules for e-filing, you’ll need to identify and fix any issues before you try to e-file your return again.

To find and correct the errors in your return, follow these steps from the Accuracy Review Results page:

  1. Choose Fix Issues in the lower right-hand corner of the page.
  2. Correct any errors and choose Next.
  3. Choose the Federal tab and choose Check for errors and missing information.
  4. Choose Next.

If you know that the information you entered is correct, you can ignore the issues. You might not be able to e-file the return, however, if the issues aren’t cleared. In that case, you should print and mail your return.
