How Do I Unfreeze My Computer Screen?

1 min read

1 min read

Are you using H&R Block’s Online program to do your taxes and having issues with the screen freezing? Here we outline how to unfreeze your screen, so you can continue entering your tax info.

You might notice that the screen freezes when you are in a section with Add, Edit, or Delete buttons. This can happen on a desktop or laptop computer because the page has not fully loaded.

How to Unfreeze Your Screen and Avoid Future Issues

To unfreeze a screen, you can simply press the F5 key at the top of your computer keyboard. This should reload the current page and resolve the issue.

To avoid this problem as you continue to go through the program, wait a few moments for the Next and/or Back buttons to appear in the lower corners of the screen. You’ll then know the page has fully loaded. At that point, you can press Add, Edit, or Delete.
