hi i'm char naylor hi i'm tanisha hi my name is giovanni forester i'm a multi-unit team leader with h r block being a multi-unit team leader means that i'm responsible for three offices three offices achieving their targets and their goals but it really is about helping people because we are a people business that can mean a lot of different things it can be having conversations with tax pros it's strategizing with the front desk team and it's also working with clients it's all about working with people and making sure that we're servicing them and giving them that guidance i would say one of the most surprising things about this role is just the support that you get from leaders in the industry i never feel like i'm alone it's a company that cares about its people it has lots of opportunities opportunities for advancement opportunities to learn and grow and i think that's really what makes it why you want to come back and do it year after year you learn every day it's always something new and that's what's amazing about the job it's not that you're doing the same thing over and over you get to grow i think one of the things that attracted me to h r block was the flexibility if i have an appointment that i need to be at if i have a child that needs me i can get up and go it's a great company to work for i was able to work and at the same time actually go to school and that's one of the reasons why i like working for h r block the flexibility at h r block is awesome especially you know when i've gone and i've worked for block in three different states you know what you're going to go out of state we have h r blocks nationwide so i love that about the company one of the things i appreciate most about working h r block is feel as though i'm part of something bigger right we do a lot more than just taxes what i appreciate most is that i'm able to help and someone coming into this company should know that we're here for them we want to see them succeed you don't get that at other companies i love introducing myself to clients and shaking their hands and saying hey i'm a multi-unit team leader welcome to h r block how can we help you out today i just want to help everyone get to their goals and it makes it it makes it a wonderful team being able to work together that way because i bleed green so that's what brings me back every year i love being a team leader it's helping people it's working with your staff it's coming in and knowing that these are people that you really care for it's just a fun job [Music]
