the field leadership development program is phenomenal because you get to do all of the things that a district general manager does but you're training so you have that coach there that can take you through the little details and be someone who you can ask those crazy questions to it's very similar to the actual dgm it's just that they would have the support of another dgm coach to just kind of see them along the way throughout the day they'll be visiting offices coaching tax professionals coaching what we call multi-unit team leaders handling customers i think that a lot of training programs are led through the computer and led through just printed material but this program is unique in that it provides you with actual resources through people but i also love that it's very dynamic in that it's constantly changing from day to day no two days are going to look the same every single day you are putting on a different hat and you do that in a very safe learning environment everyone around you cultivates that feeling of hey we're gonna make sure you're gonna be great at this you shouldn't be afraid to fail everyone is gonna help you along the way so it gives you a chance to just try things out and learn in a very immersive way [Music]
we ask the candidates to be able to relocate relocation is fully covered by h r block we like to say you just have a truck pull up they'll pack all your things up and before you know it it'll show up in your new location the experience was actually great um the relocation department was really um helpful and moving to a new city it's a new adventure and it's a new chapter so embrace it it's really great the needs of your business are going to be unique they're going to be unique to where you live they're going to be unique to your community block will give you the playbook but you get to run it however you want to so the fldp is really all about developing leaders you do not need to know taxes to come into this role your primary focus is going to be around leadership not necessarily taxes or tax theory my background is actually in retail the fldp program is not really about knowing taxes but it's about using the past experiences that you have to really mold change within people the culture at h r block is a culture of helping people everyone is passionate about wanting to help others and it just it's infectious i would say join us it is a blast just jump in with two feet
