Current tax year information may not be complete until July. This transcript shows all your income information that your employers, banks, financial institutions, and other payers report to the IRS. Examples of income information reported to the IRS include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wages on <a href=\"https:\/\/hrbcomlnp.hrblock.com\/tax-center\/irs\/form-w2\/\">Form W-2<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Nonemployee compensation on Form <a href=\"https:\/\/hrbcomlnp.hrblock.com\/tax-center\/irs\/tax-dictionary-1099-misc\/\">1099-MISC<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Interest on Form 1099-INT<\/li>\n<li>Retirement distributions on Form <a href=\"https:\/\/hrbcomlnp.hrblock.com\/tax-center\/irs\/reporting-form-1099-r-amounts-as-income\/\">1099-R<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sale of stocks on Form 1099-B<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>People often request their wage and income transcripts to verify their income information when they&#8217;re preparing tax returns, to respond to a CP2000 notice, or to investigate tax identity theft.<\/p>\n<p>You can request your wage and income transcripts using the IRS Get Transcript tool on IRS.gov.
