That&#8217;s why we\u2019ve prepared this guide for you. Whether you\u2019ve already filed your tax return or still have to do it, you can find the answers to your questions regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrblock.com\/filing-options-and-products.html\">tax preparation<\/a> with this list of resources.<\/p>\n<h2>If you already filed your tax return<\/h2>\n<p>After you have filed your return, you can use our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrblock.com\/wheres-my-refund\/\">where&#8217;s my refund<\/a> tool to check the status of your refund. Once your tax return is accepted, you can follow it through three stages: Return Received, Refund Approved and Refund Sent<em>. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that regardless of how you filed your tax return, once the IRS has it, there is very little your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrblock.com\/tax-offices\/our-tax-pros\/\">tax pro<\/a> can do to accelerate the process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrblock.com\/tax-center\/filing\/how-to-amend-tax-return\/\">Amended returns<\/a>: If you somehow missed some necessary information to be submitted in your return or you find an error, you should determine if you must file an amended return. The IRS offers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/uac\/Newsroom\/Ten-Facts-on-Filing-an-Amended-Tax-Return\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tips<\/a> about when to amend a return and when not to.<\/p>\n<p>You can also follow up the status of your amended return through the site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/Filing\/Individuals\/Amended-Returns-(Form-1040-X)\/Wheres-My-Amended-Return-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Where is my amended return?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/Spanish\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IRS<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrblock.com\/espanol\/\">H&amp;R Block Spanish Customer Service<\/a>: If any of these links don\u2019t give you the answers to your questions, you can contact the IRS through the hotline 1-800-829-1040, and select option 2 to hear the menu in Spanish.
