If you\u2019re filing taxes with an H&R Block Online product and your e-file return is rejected by the IRS, we can help. There are many reasons a return might be rejected. For example, your name or date of birth might not match IRS records, or there might be a typo somewhere in your return.<\/p>\n

However, just because your e-file return is rejected by the IRS doesn\u2019t necessarily mean you have to resort to mailing a paper return. Depending on your specific situation, you might be able to e-file again.<\/p>\n

First, try to correct any errors:<\/p>\n

  1. While you\u2019re logged into your MyBlock account, choose Fix Errors<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. On the page where the error has occurred, correct the error and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Repeat as many times as needed until all errors are fixed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you\u2019re still unable to e-file, you might need to file a paper extension form. Having to mail your return doesn\u2019t necessarily mean it\u2019s incorrect.
